Where We Stand
We believe in the Verbal plenary inspiration of the King James Version Bible as the final authority for all matters. We believe in Biblical separation of the believer from the world. We also believe in the pre-millennial rapture of the saints and resurrection of the dead. We reject the doctrines of Calvinism while still believing in the sovereignty and foreknowledge  of God. We believe in the virgin birth, a triune Godhead, eternal security, and the priesthood of the believer. We believe that marriage is the union of one man and one woman for life and that homosexuality is a sin for which God will hold those committing it accountable. We also believe in a literal burning hell where all people who die without Christ will spend eternity. We believe that preachers are men, with only one living wife, who are called of God. We also believe that all works of God in this dispensation are done through the local New Testament church that operates independent of any outside councils or associations.

What should I expect on my first visit?
We’re so glad you’re considering being our guest at Concord Baptist Church! We hope that you find our church to be an ideal place for you and your family to grow and seek the Lord. Not all services are the same but this is a good guideline.

When you arrive on a Sunday at 10 am for Sunday School you will be met by one of our security team/ greeters to welcome you at the door.(The same would take place if you chose to visit us for a regular weekday service held every Wednesday at 7 pm). We begin withthe superintendent,opens sunday school, this is when the children's classes break off, allowing for more class time.Once dismissed, the adults go to their respective classes.We have several different Sunday School classes to accommodate all ages, one of the greeters will help to direct you to the appropriate classes.

The main worship service on Sunday starts at 11 am and consists of singing from the church choir, youth choir, or soloists as the Lord leads.We do take up an offering at some point in the service, but we don't expect visitors to give towards that. This is followed by a clear, concise Bible message from Pastor Boone.

At the conclusion of church, pastor Boone meets everyone at the back door to shake hands and we have fellowship on the front porch. We hope this information will make your first visit an enjoyable one.
